Our Materials
From Natural Fibres, To Lasting Value.
We believe truly good clothing begins with the careful choice of material.
At Cle Luxe Mode, we prioritize natural fibres not only for their authentic touch, warmth, and breathability, but also because each one is deeply connected to land, climate, traditional craftsmanship, and years of accumulated knowledge. We value comfort, durability, and long-term wear, while also caring about whether a material’s origin is clear, whether the supply chain is more transparent, and whether the relationship between people and nature is treated with respect. To us, choosing natural fibres is not only a material decision, but a more thoughtful balance between quality, responsibility, and long-term value.
Five Materials
Mongolian Cashmere
The rarity of Mongolian cashmere begins with nature itself. Fine cashmere depends on severe seasonal cold, which leads goats to grow a dense inner fleece in winter for protection. When the molting season arrives, this precious underdown is carefully combed out. Its limited yield is part of what makes it so valuable.
For us, Mongolian cashmere matters not only because it is soft, lightweight, and warm, but also because it reflects a close relationship between climate, source, and livelihood. We value genuine origin and traceability, and we hope more direct, long-term partnerships can ensure that its value is felt not only in wear, but also in respect for herders and place of origin.
Chinese Mulberry Silk
Chinese mulberry silk is known for its long history, continuous filament structure, natural luster, and delicate hand feel. Compared with many staple fibres, it feels lighter, smoother, and more quietly refined.
To us, the value of mulberry silk lies not only in its texture, but also in the traditional sericulture and reeling craftsmanship behind it. It is light, smooth, and close to the skin, with a graceful drape and a subtle sheen that brings a restrained yet lasting sense of elegance to clothing.
Australian Wool
Australian wool is valued for its fineness, softness, warmth, and everyday practicality. High-quality Australian wool balances insulation and lightness well, making it suitable across a wide range of seasons and wearing occasions.
We choose Australian wool not only for warmth, but because it performs consistently across softness, resilience, and long-term usefulness. It brings quality into real daily life, allowing garments to feel both comfortable and worth keeping.
Belgian Linen
Belgian linen comes from one of Europe’s most respected flax regions, where climate and soil help produce a fabric with an airy, dry, and naturally textured character. Its value is not in excess, but in restraint, clarity, and authenticity.
For us, Belgian linen represents more than origin alone. It reflects a balance of nature, craft, and order. It suits relaxed, natural everyday dressing, and it also suits designs that are understated yet able to stand the test of time.
Natural Cotton
Natural cotton is not defined by rarity, but by comfort, breathability, softness, and reliability. It remains one of the most essential natural fibres in everyday life because it is familiar, versatile, and durable.
We value natural cotton because it belongs in the most frequent and foundational moments of dressing. Truly good cotton does not need excessive embellishment; its strength lies in making people feel at ease, secure, and comfortable over time.
Natural materials are more than a fabric choice.
They are also our commitment to quality, responsibility, and lasting value.
